Product Description:
The world’s #1 fixed income book, now with 21 all-new chapters
The Handbook of Fixed Income Securities occupies the top spot as the most authoritative, widely read reference in the global fixed income marketplace. First published in 1983, this comprehensive survey of current knowledge features contributions from leading academics and practitioners and has carved out a niche that cannot and will not be equaled by any other single sourcebook.
Now, the thoroughly revised and updated seventh edition gives finance professionals the facts and formulas they need to compete in today’s transformed marketplace. It places increased emphasis on applications, electronic trading, and global portfolio management, and features new chapters on topics including:
- Eurobonds
- Emerging market debt
- Credit risk modeling
- Synthetics
- CDOs
- Transition management
- And many more

a) Treasuries and Agencies
b) Mortgages (MBS)
c) Corporates and credit analysis
d) International
e) High yield
f) Municipal
g) Fixed Income ... Read More

If you, like me, want to carry a copy of this standard reference book around in your Kindle, be aware that the table of contents in my version is non-functional. Considering the paper copy is around 1,300 pages long, this makes it difficult to find exact spot you're looking for in the Kindle version.
I would wait until McGraw-Hill fixes the electronic edition before purchasing a copy.
Has anyone else out there had a problem with their Kindle version TOC?

This monstrosity (over a thousand pages long) is at best a mediocre work of reference. Whether you are interested in fixed income from a qualitative or a quantitative perspective, you are strongly advised to stay away from this book. First it is poorly written, extremely wordy and perplexingly disorganized. Second there is no serious discussion of the ideas and mathematics used to price the securities treated. A few mathematical formulas with zero motivation whatsoever are thrown here and there. Where the formulas ... Read More
