Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A humerous study on how to save ourselves
We all have our weaknesses and this book gives us a
Dorian Gray type look at ourselves. I purchased this book
as I was embarking on the Forex experience. Thru the Harry Barnes
in each of us, it explorers the mental frailities traders must battle to be successful. You can study all the technical books you would like, but the lessons learned in this book will be the glue
that binds it all together. Its all about attitude, discipline and doing the right thing.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Read it at least twice -- for all futures trading, not just currencies
The first time you read it, you'll laugh while also learning a lot -- and probably finish it in one sitting (I did). But a year later I decided to read it again, and that's when I realized he's touched on almost everything that's important to know (if he missed anything, I don't know what it is). Of course, you'll want to do further reading and learning, but you should read this book for a great overview of futures trading, and hang onto it for reference. Plus, you'll laugh when you read it the second time, too. :-)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great book!
Wow...great book. I think I have made almost every single mistake the protagonist makes throughout the book. The great thing is that the author breaks these mistakes down and helps you change your way of thinking. I'm a newbie to the FOREX market, but I can honestly tell you that this book is on the top of my list of books that I have read and has changed my thought processes for the better. I have already noticed changes in my trading...more conservative, better risk management, and patience!!!

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the FOREX.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - It's OK, but..
I enjoyed reading this book. However I had some problems.

First of all, I like how Mr. Booker hammered home about how there are no trading shortcuts. Plus I also liked that the psycological issues of trading were addressed.

But the book is too expensive for all it contains. Plus I would rather the main character have a real mentor and not a magical one.

I'm reminded of The Greatest Miracle by Og Mandino. Only Og Mandino's book is far supperior (and cheaper) that Rob Booker's. If you want to read a fictional story about trading that is also educational, read Reminiscences of a Stock Operator. It is cheaper and semi-biographical of a real life successful trader, Jessie Livermore.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Essential for a novice F/X trader
Reading the book is a must for any novice F/X traders lured to the business with easy profits.

It's better to read this book and have a laugh at the protagonist's mistakes than go thru this experience on our own.
