These spoons will last a good long time, and make it through many grandchildren (even if a few get lost along the way). My daughter picked them out for her baby shower, and I have used them to feed the baby many a time, great spoons for little mouths.

I was very happy with this purchase - the spoons are strong - and have nice heft for something so tiny. They look great and go with my "fancy" espresso cups, as well as my every day ones. (I like tiny cups - they are handy for many purposes beyond espresso - Instead of "super-size me" - please down-size me!) Mary K.

I bought these mainly to serve Fancy Feast to my cats in their Waterford crystal dishes. Just kidding! But no, I did get them to use as espresso spoons but found them to be perfect for just about anything (including dishing out Fancy Feast). I use them everyday and am so glad there are 8 of them so I don't run out between dishwasher loads. They are wonderfully made - sturdy and strong, and scratch resistant, but also very stylish. Inherited a demi- tasse espresso set from my mother years age but unfortunately the spoons (if they existed, did not survive). So for many years I reluctantly put the set away and just served espresso in regular sized coffee cup with measuring size teaspoon.

While these spoons are adorable, well made, feel good in your hand,and are a good weight, they are far smaller than what I had expected. I needed these spoons for coffee and tea cups---not for expresso. These are an excellent buy if you are indeed using them for expresso or, as another reviewer mentioned, as baby spoons. I hope Amazon will correct their description. I have never come accross an incorrect one before.
