As someone who has self-published over 30 books, I can honestly say that this book is not worth reading, but don't downgrade the author based on this offering. Take a look at his new book: "Sell Your Book On Amazon", that one is worth your time and money. Don't waste your money on this title, but don't try to self-publish without reading one or two of the newer books on the market (including his). Enjoy!

For the longest time I had avoided the self-publishing route, partly because I had never heard or read anything positive about the industry. But Brent opened the self-publishing world up to me as he opened my eyes regarding some of the less-than-desirable facets of traditional publishing.
I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in self-publishing.
I read it. Digested it. ... Read More

I am the husband of Patsy A. Reed, author of 2 books published through Outskirts Press: It Was Well Worth The Wait and "You Need Me...I Need You": Holy Matrimony-What a Privilege This is a self-publishing company second to none for the novice and experienced author. The courteous and sincere assistance received from the staff builds, not only confidence, but creates a desire to want to return again and again for services--not to mention to tell everyone we meet who desires to publish a work how great ... If you want to know how to self-publish a book with Outskirt Press, and you're too lazy to get the information from their website, this is the book for you. I expected more on the nuts and bolts of self publishing; after all, the title does lead one to think this. Oh well. On the plus side, it wasn't too expensive.
