Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - New Meaning To "You Must Be Born Again"
So many people nowadays, whether church-goers or not, believe that a Minister has an easy job: Open the Bible, read some scripture, and give their opinions on the verses. Simple, right?

But as I read through this reprinted book brought to us by Carl "Tuchy" Palmieri, I found the truth to be much more harsh than I ever realized. Each of these twelve Ministers struggled to be more Christ-like, to lead their churches in the right direction, and many even had crises of faith.

First and foremost ministers need to be honest to them ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Interesting for Those Interested in Ministry
"Twice Born Ministers" is a collection of stories of twelve ministers who struggled to find their way to serve Christ and their congregations more authentically and deeply. Although the stories are from the early twentieth century, they still resonate today for anyone who is involved in pastoral care or ministry work. (Originally published in 1929, "Twice Born Ministers" has been republished by Carl Tuchy Palmieri and Healing-habits.com.)

How do the leaders of a church lead the congregations ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Inspiring Minister Stories
"Twice Born Ministes: We Are All Ministers" by Samuel M Shoemaker and republished by Carl Tuch Palmieri with funding by Healing-Habits.com is still today relevant just as it was when it was published in 1929. It is comprised of short stories of ministers, who just as laymen sometimes do, have the need to find their way in tough economic times. They sometimes have to re-evaluate their own belief systems while helping themselves as well as others.

Each story is interesting, different in it's ... Read More
