Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Greg Mortenson stumbled, lost and delirious, into a remote Himalayan village after a failed climb up K2. The villagers saved his life, and he vowed to return and build them a school. The remarkable story of his promise kept is now perfect for reading aloud. Told in the voice of Korphe’s children, this story illuminates the humanity and culture of a relevant and distant part of the world in gorgeous collage, while sharing a riveting example of how one person can change thousands of lives.

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great book!
This book is beautifully illustrated and great for children. It does a wonderful job telling the story of Three Cups of Tea, Mortenson's original book, in a way children can understand.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "LISTEN TO THE WIND' is "Three Cups of Tea" for children
The moving account of Greg Mortenson's establishing schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan provided in his book "Three Cups of Tea" is portrayed in story form with colorful pictures in the children's book "LISTEN TO THE WIND", an Amazon Verified Purchase. Online purchase process and service is excellent.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Wonderful for young teachers and readers

This book is a great way to introduce young readers to global humanitarian issues in terms that are easy to understand. I highly recommend this book for elementary teachers to use in the classroom. The pictures are full of captivating colors and also includes authentic snapshots as well.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Beautiful way to share stewardship with children
Beautiful illustrations and a wonderful way to tell the Three Cups of Tea story to children. It is rich with layers: cultural, serving others (and the power of one person), education, artistic.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Listen to the Wind
If you have read "Three Cups of Tea" and would like to share this story of compassion and friendship on a world-wide scale with young people who may one day live out a life of compassionate caring relationships, "Listen to the Wind" is just the ticket. I gave it to my 6 & 8 year-old grandsons with instructions to read and then donate it to the school libraries. It is a beautiful story about ways we can make friends across the world instead of dropping bombs on them!
