JK Lasser's Income Tax Books are very good. Very comprehensive. This is a great book for eggheads like me, and people who like researching and investigating their subject. Read this book... you'll know something! It will also improve reading skills. Anyone can get whatever information they are looking for regarding personal and business tax returns. to gain even a rudimentary knowledge of the individual
tax code. The book is written simply with many easy-to-read

I've used the yearly version of this book for many years. It's great to have when tax time comes near. It's sort of automatic that I will buy the current edition in January.
