Product Description: The #1 New York Times Bestseller
Mike and Tia Baye decide to spy on their son Adam, who has become moody and withdrawn since his friends suicide. The software they install on his computer exposes every website visited, every e-mail and instant message sent or received. But each keystroke draws them deeper into a maze of mayhem and violence that could destroy them all.

Any time you start a Coben novel, you're in for a great reading ride. As usual "Hold Tight" is filled with interesting characters who..for a while....have no obvious connection. Then it all begins to fall into place. The reader may need to turn back once in a while as the events sometimes seem of little important but then explode onto the scene. If you're the kind that devours books - sure pick this up. If you're like me and a bit of a slow reader skip it.

Hold Tight is an interesting read. I never got bored. However, compared to some past books, like The Woods, this one falls a little short. I've come to expect those twists at the end that we never saw coming but this one was a little more predictable. There were some details you may not see coming but nothing that will leave you gasping in shock. The story is based around several families & individuals whose lives are intertwined. This book has stayed a slow pace. It does not grab you like "The Woods". I know each book will be different but the lack of interesting information or ideas in this one slows it to a crawl. The book strats picking up after a few chapters but it is hard to muddle through the first few. "The Woods" was something gripping from the beginning but not so with this one. Maybe the Myron Bolitar book will be better.

Harlan Coben says he tries to make sure each of his books are page turners. Usually, they are. Unfortunately, this one didn't maintain his normal pace. I couldn't even motivate myself to finish reading it.
